Monday! Partial Solar Eclipse

In San Diego, the partial solar eclipse begins at 9:07 am. The eclipse will end at 11:47 am.
 

Warning! Never look directly at the sun during an eclipse without proper eye protection. 


It is not safe to look at an eclipse with regular sunglasses. DO NOT look at it through the camera lens on your phone without eye protection.

Here are some options to safety observe the sun during an eclipse:

 



Stop by the Library on Monday morning and view our display about the Solar Eclipse. Free solar eclipse glasses will be handed out at our Welcome Table (while supplies last). We also will have "out of this world" treats to keep you energized on your first day of classes.
