Advice from Dr. Seuss

American author and illustrator Dr Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel, 1904-1991) sits at his drafting table in his home office with a copy of his book, The Cat in the Hat, in La Jolla, California, on April 25, 1957. (Photo and caption credit: Biography Resource Center.)

On Monday, UC San Diego announced that Audrey Geisel donated $3 million to their main campus Geisel Library. The library is named for her and her husband, Ted "Dr. Seuss" Geisel. According to KPBS, "The gift will fund improvements to interior public spaces at the 43-year-old library to meet the needs of students, faculty, and other users in the digital age."
