July is National Ice Cream Month!

Did you know in the library’s print collection there's a great title honoring this theme to check out?

This title is currently in display case -- ask staff for assistance to check it out.

Reagan: The Life presents a biography of President Ronald Reagan. The author, H.W. Brands, discusses Reagan's personal life before his presidency and his political life during the presidency.

Brands also discusses some of President Reagan’s political actions, like Proclamation 5219 establishing in 1984 that July is National Ice Cream Month. Ice cream and dairy manufacturers continue to market this theme today.

Celebrate National Ice Cream Month in July

July is National Ice Cream Month and the Library is celebrating with a display about all things ice cream!

After you have that scoop of mint chocolate chip on a sugar cone, stop by the third floor of the Library to see a display of books available for check out on this topic. We also have full-text articles and streaming videos available.
