Website of the Week

Western Undergraduate Exchange (WUE) : http://www.wiche.edu/wue

WUE is a program that allows students from certain states (WICHE members) to receive reduced tuition from participating 2 and 4 year institutions of higher education outside of their state of residence.

There are limitations and guidelines. For example, WUE is not offered to all majors and not all participating institutions offer program to transfer students. However, It’s still a good option to research when applying for college.

 From their website:

WICHE's student exchange programs offer a broad range of higher education options for some 36,000 students each year at undergraduate, graduate, and professional levels. Residents of WICHE states can gain affordable access to programs, states avoid costly and unnecessary duplication of programs and facilities, and colleges and universities can devote their resources to improving the quality of their educational offerings.
WICHE members include: Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
