College Navigator

This resource is provided by the U.S. Government's Institute of Education Sciences (IES) to provide students the opportunity to search for colleges of interest (including 2 year, 4 year, private and public) by a variety of parameters to include:

• Location · Distance from home
• Size of the college
• Setting (rural, town, suburban, city)
• Majors/programs
• Level of award (Certificate, Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Advanced) 
• Percentage of applicants admitted
• Extended learning opportunities
• Tuition and fees 

Additional parameters can be searched as well. Special features allow students to create a “My Favorites List” to compare schools, the ability to export results into a spreadsheet, an interactive map that pinpoints a school’s location, and a “save your search” option.
