Check It Out

It’s Hispanic Heritage Month!

Did you know in the New Books collection there's a great title honoring this theme to check out?

It's called, Cuentos folkloricos latinoamericanos : fábulas de las tradiciones hispanas e indígenas. It's compiled by John Bierhorst and published in 2003. It is located on the library’s New Books collection shelves and its call number is GR111.H57 L3718 2003.

This book is a neat resource for students to read folktales contributed by various Hispanic and indigenous peoples of North, South, and Central America. These tales involve stories of tricksters, witches, angels, aristocrats, peasants, and heroes and heroines.

Cheers!
