Grove Music Online includes the full text of the acclaimed 29-volume New Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians (2nd edition), the 4-volume New Grove Dictionary of Opera, and the 3-volume New Grove Dictionary of Jazz (2nd edition). This resource is regularly updated with newly commissioned articles. There are over 50,000 articles that cover musical styles, in depth biographies and the culture of music and musicians from around the world. There are also audio music examples and interactive images of musical instruments.
