April is National Poetry Month!

Grouse (by Dan Gerber)

Grouse moving through the field this morning.
I can't really see them, still nothing else
parts the indolent grass this way.

Often, we know the world by what it isn't.
The physician on the trail of the disease.

Still, what we don't know
is subscribed by what we do. I think
this morning I'll walk the dog through that field.
