It's time to finish that paper!
Are you researching a topic for your paper? Need academic sources? We have thousands of full-text articles, e-books, statistics, and primary sources from credible, accurate, and up-to-date sources.
Have a question about which database to use, or how to search for your topic? Librarians are available 24/7 to assist you!
You can expect your OWL tutor to give you clear, specific suggestions for improving your paper. You should also expect to do some work revising your paper based on those suggestions. Be sure to leave yourself enough time for revision.
The ASC offers tutoring in a myriad of subjects from accounting to zoology! Students are welcome to make an appointment for tutoring or simply come on in, and an available tutor will assist you. Please make sure you bring your current SWC student ID in order to receive tutoring.

Help with Citing

Done with writing your paper? It's time to cite your sources.
The Library has helpful MLA and APA citation guides. They offer examples of how to cite the most commonly used sources, including information you find on the library's databases.
Additionally, you can get help with your citations from
a variety of websites.The four SWC Libraries own copies of the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research Papers and the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association.
If you need additional help, contact the SWC Writing Center or the SWC Online Writing Center.
