Check It Out
Did you know there’s a great book related to National Safety Month available for check out?
It's a book called, Distracted Driving. It's edited by Stefan Kiesbye. Greenhaven Press published it in 2012 and its call number is HE5614.2 .A74 2012. It's currently on display on the third floor, but it can be checked out for four weeks with your SWC photo ID card. Ask staff at the Circulation Desk for assistance.
Even though this title is located at the main campus library, it can be delivered to any of the campus library branches at National City, San Ysidro or Otay Mesa via the request feature in the catalog.
This book is a great resource for anyone to learn about traffic safety issues in the U.S. Distracted Driving provides insight into how devices, like cellphones, behaviors, such as texting, drinking, multitasking or eating, and the traffic laws to protect us impact everyone’s safety.
Come to the library to see more safety-related titles on display this month.
Cheers!
